2011 SR5 4x4 front axle (non TRD)

    This has probably been discussed already. In 4wd low is the front axle auto LSD or is only one front wheel powered. Thanks

    No LSD, it is an open diff, so if one wheel is off the ground it will spin free in 4 low.

    Unless you do the yellow wire mod, in that case it will act as if it were in 4 hi and TRAC will kick in.

    will that work if I just have the sr5 4x4 and not the trd (I do not have atrac)

    I keep meaning to do the mod, it is a simple cutting of a wire... but I am just waiting for my first warranty to expire (no idea why)...
