Visited Capitol Reef National Park last year for first time. Awesome place. To be honest I had never heard of it until our annual trip to Utah last year my wife told me she wanted to visit it. (We are trying to visit as many national parks as we possibly can). Checked it off the bucket list.

Shhhhh!!! Don't tell anyone about it. (Oops, too late.)

It's a big park and not very many people except close to the visitor's center. And not far east is the San Rafael Swell and a bunch of ancient Indian art. If you're interested in that kind of thing there's a pretty nice little Fremont Indian Museum just south of Richfield.

    WTH!
For the last week or so the computer has been acting up on opening up tabs, looked online and it said to clear cookies and that it would probably wipe out saved automatic sign in's, I constantly clear browsing history, but never cookies, I browse a lot!
I tried it, took a while but seemed to fix the problem.
Is this something I should be doing on a regular basis, like I said, I have never cleared the cookies until just now.

I set it in the web browser. I believe it clears itself every time I close the program.

I have been an IT guy for 30+ years and I don't clear my cookies more that 2-3 times a year. Just keep your anti virus up to date and you should be fine.. Your anti virus should automatically remove any cookies that could cause your computer harm.

Huh, I've never known how to clear cookies (didn't know I was getting any) or my browser history or anything else. How do you know if you need to?

And since it'll come up anyways... what do you do to clear them? And will it harm your computer if you do/don't?

In the old days the sites would push cookies to your computer whenever you visited them and never told you they were doing that. You've probably noticed that when you visit sites now they will have a popup that asks you what cookies you will allow. If it's a site that you don't plan to visit often it's probably best to not allow then to load cookies. If it's a site you plan to be a regular on then you can allow the cookies. Most sites use cookies to track things like location and browsing preferences.
There are many browsers out there so if you do a quick search for your specific browser and clearing cache and cookies, you should get a quick step by step how to. There is no harm in clearing the cookies but it will remove all of your saved sign ins for sites. Most folks don't remove cookies until they have an issue which is probably ok. I prefer to clear them out a few times a year.
Hope that helps. And, anyone else feel free to chime in with their thoughts and ways they handle this.

I have to shut off my power strip once a week or so, otherwise I have issues with one forum I post to some, when using my iPad which I don’t care for. Don’t know how people care for owning an Apple product. I have Wi-Fi.

Good morning all! Another hot day as in 14* above normal. So after kettlebells I need to get outside and water veges before it gets too hot. Also need to try to get my solar panels on the Super Pacific in preparation for my mid-August trip to the Wind River Range of Wyoming to run my 12v fridge. Busy day!

Went on a hike yesterday with a young friend (67) to Rainbow Lakes at about 10,050 feet. Felt good and not too sore today. I guess all the kettlebell exercises are helping out.

Have a great day and get outside for a bit!

    Morning all:

Ok, thanks for the feedback on cookies. I normally don't click on allow but never have cleared them, looks like I need to do that on occasion or just wait until the computer starts acting up, there must have been a lot of them, it took quite a while to remove them
Like Kent posted, it did remove all my saved sign ins, that's why I never attempted to clear them before.

    Good morning Susan, old relics.
Cool down here the last few days, finally had enough and opened all the windows yesterday, got inside temps up to 73, was only 75 outside yesterday, this time of year the sun is hot even at those temps. Cold in the shade, hot in the sun.
Met the Deputy Sheriff at the fair that I need to take a CCW class from. Gave him my phone number so he could leave me a contact number, he is renewing folks permits first before taking on new people. I know many of the deputies names from an old job I had in town, having to secure the store a few times at 2:30AM after break-ins. So not hesitant about talking to LE. Plus two in the Coleman group I camp with.
Bike ride after breakfast and the temps get up close to 60, maybe 9 today.
    Have a great day.

Park Fire west of me, over 3900 personnel assigned to the fire now, I have never seen so many on a fire before. Over 350,00 acres now, only 12% containment as of Sunday AM. Not good for us in the mountains. One neighbor has moved their large animals. This fire is still smaller than the Dixie Fire which burned within a couple miles of my place. Please keep all of us in the area in your thoughts.
