So, I realize the OEM mat is the way to go, but their prices have climbed substantially over the last couple of years (I am seeing 160ish now). So, I started to look at other offerings including Rough Country. I have their seat covers (2023 OR) and really like them, so I thought I would give the RC bed mats a look. Anyone using or considered the RCs? I'd like to hear your thoughts.

    Thanks all.

RekGen just launched a new Tacoma bed mat for $125. Don't know how good it is.

I’ve been thinking about one for my 24 but haven’t decided on spending the money yet..I’m trading in my Tundra for the new one and have been taking off some of the extras that I added thru the years..I might end up trimming my rubber bed liner from the tundra to fit the 24..I don’t know

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
OEM for the win. It's worth the few extra $$$.

I had an aftermarket mat from a SB in my LB for quite a while. I do not know what brand, but it was great. I eventually traded for an OEM LB mat and actually miss the old one. Loading anything that has to slide, esp boxes, catches the edges, esp the Tacoma logo, and makes it a pain in the butt. Even the chevrons can hamper loading.

Thank you all for the responses. And thank you for the thoughts/images @tonered.

@ace_10 - I have looked at those posts (most of them anyway). However, that was when the OEM was within a few bucks of third party. Sadly, things have changed a bit.

OEM bed mat would be a justified purchase even if it cost $400. No matter what the price, it'll never not be the best "first mod." Just get the OEM and be done with it

Is $35 really too much to spend for oem that fits and works well. If so get the other.

Tractor Supply "stall mat". $50, 4ft by 6 ft. Use a knife to cut out the wheel-wells and re-use those for the wings in the back. Heavy enough to not move on its own, sticky enough to keep things from moving.

@canuck guy - where can I get an OEM for $135 shipped? RC is $100 with I believe free shipping.

I bought a used F150 Mat, and cut it down to size. You wouldn't know it unless I pointed it out. I believe I paid $50

my post was referring to your op that said for an oem "160ish now" and another post saying aftermarket for 125. 160 less 125 = 35

@canuck guy - I see...thank you for the explanation. Seems I can't find anything under the $160 mark (with shipping). Dealership up the road has them, but they are $166. Maybe I should just quit my whining and pay the $66!!

Tractor Supply stall-mat. $50. Cut to size. Smells tire-y for a while, but so do new tires.

Wait for a sale. I recently got mine from the 4th of July sale. I paid 135~ for it with taxes and picked it up at my local dealer.
