Thanks, just heard that insurance “should” be covering it…

My dad is getting fitted for new teeth, his dentures didn’t make it. Insurance is also refilling all their medicines and getting my dad a new set of hearing aids as well.

 

Don’t know why I’m looking but it’s pretty crazy when you can get a Tundra limited (57k) for about the price of a Tacoma limited (56k). cheapest tundra limited vs most expensive Tacoma limited on their site

I wouldnt mind taking a closer look at the differences....not that im in the market, but more for informational purposes.

 

Maybe if I get time I’ll try and figure it out.. I think they both have the same size bed. I think that Tundra was the extra short bed.

 

and MPG differences....

This is what I keep saying… buying a new Tacoma is just not financially smart no matter how you look at it. And it’s the same across all trim levels.

 

The motor is the main focal point for me. That iForce-Max twin turbo v6 hybrid puts out a ton of power. And with the tuner for it, it’s crazy! Not to mention a more stout frame and drivetrain plus all the added cab space! Sorry, but only a fool would pic the new Taco over the Tundra. Don’t get me wrong, I love my 3rd Gen, but if wife was onboard, there’d be a new BIGGER Toyota in the driveway… and a Tacoma parts page with a lot of great stuff for sale!!

 

Not much if any I’m sure… 4cyl probably works twice as hard to move that Taco than that big v6 does to move the Tundra.

Yeah it was negligible on paper. Real world that margin is prolly another story...

That's a good question. Maybe they fixed it on the assembly line at some point.

unlike the Grand Highlanders that have a recall going on and a stop sale as well. The drivers side curtain airbag may not deploy as intended when the window is down.

they’re not listed on dealers sites and you can’t search for inventory on Toyota.com either.

if the tundra wasn’t fix, I think it would be a similar story, or maybe not since it’s only an engine and not the airbag
