I have an OR and it appears the up and down function on the lumbar should do something but it doesn’t. Can anyone else confirm this? Only the back and forth function works.

Hmm? Have only seen lumbar inflate / deflate (on other vehicles) and usually those move front to back vs up and down.

OP is probably referring to [E]. OP, I would refer to the dealer service dept. to show you this is functioning.

E does nothing. I read that page in the manual but didn’t really explain how it works

This is what you were referring to in your first post? If so, I would take it to your service dept (not a salesperson) to prove to you it actually has a function as described in the manual.

Could be as simple as the harness not connected to the switch properly. Or of course more complicated things

But that's why folks buy vehicles with warranties, right?

Yeah I was just wondering if anyone could confirm that it’s not supposed to be working on my model. Maybe they use the same button on all models but that function only works on the limited. I already know what the dealer is going to tell me: “yeah that’s normal” even when presenting them with evidence that states otherwise.

I was playing around with mine, and the E button definitely works. It's very subtle, but I could really tell when it got near the top, not so much at the bottom. Probably due to the curvature in my back down low. Almost felt like a massage chair. TRD OR Premium.

At first I thought that the up/down lumbar function didn't work in my sport premium, but I later found that it does work. It just moves very slowly. Hold the button down and you should feel the lumbar moving up or down. Helps to have the lumbar set farther in so you can feel the lumbar pressing into your back.
