Hello, my 2023 Offroad had some frame damage to the front right along with some knuckle and control arm damage when it went into a ditch pretty hard.

Can that individual front frame part be repaired or replaced or does the entire frame typically get replaced?

    Thank you for your insight.

Frame damage? I would talk to a good collision shop and your insurance, though I believe they are often replaced, not repaired. Be prepared to wait, especially if used cannot be found. I have read numerous times, new frames are taking months to arrive.

Accident? Hopefully you are OK and were not off-roading as insurance might not cover it based on some policies. Replacing a frame is going to be really expensive so I hope insurance is involved.

What previous post wrote, and I don’t know your exact details. But you better off talking to collision body shop, for estimate see if frame can be straighten out, or needs replacement. Also, talk to your auto insurance company. No “dilly dally!”

Thank you all. I don't have a picture of the damage, it's at the collision shop now and they are evaluating. Can Tacoma frames be straightened out? The damage is to the right front area.

I'll go with no frame damage, but suspension assembly collapsed as designed, for a Diet Coke Alex

For your sake, I hope I'm right!

I suggest you ask the collision shop. They are the experts.

Insurance will typically not repair a frame that a collision shop has determined to have damage. They will replace or write off. So, can you repair one? Yes, depending on the extent of the damage. But, don't expect Insurance to help you.

Thank you for that info. I'd prefer to not have to replace the frame, but instead pull it back into shape. I'm just not sure how bad the frame is bent and if the collision shop can do the frame pulling to bring it back into spec. I know the front right suspension components are damaged.

respectfully: you don't get to make that call, the one paying does,,, the insurance company. You can fight it sure.
If they want to replace the frame, let them. There are also safety concerns and concerns of having to repair again.
