Door locks/key fobs

My door locks and both fobs quit working when key is turned off. Anyone? I also noticed when I have the dash on the compass, after I turn the key off/on again it goes to the mpg screen (usually stays at the one that it was at when I turned off the motor).

Check your ECU-B No 3 Fuse (10A) in the underhood fuse box

 

Electrical gremlins. Check the fuse suggested above. Something happened. Good luck

 

Blown! Changed it and door locks work, but not key fob. After you put in a new 10A, does the fob need new programming or ?

 

Did you have a key in the ignition when trying the fob?
I only ask because remote keyless entry is disabled when there is a key in the ignition regardless of if the switch is on or not.

 

^^ also, check your key fob battery!

 

It was not in the ignition. Both of my key fobs don't work.

 

You may check the MPX-B Fuse (5A) in the interior fuse box.

have you added any mods to the truck recently?

 

I have not, but the body shop took my pass. door off to paint it. That's it.

 

Nope. This all happened when the body guys took my pass door off.

 

Take it back to them and tell them the problem started after their repairs. They should fix it.

 

I did and they worked on for 2 hrs checking fuses...nothing. I bring it home n post. You guys fix part of the problem in 3 secs. They did say bring it back when the boss is back on Wed. I was hoping to ever go back, but, yea, it's on them!

 

Wtf?! I just bought a new battery for both my fobs even though the body shop said they put a new battery in n it still didn't work. They work! I didn't mention earlier, but the body shop also said they checked my fuses and one was blown. Sorry guys, but this time Mom wins

 

Thank you so so much for all of your help. I know where to find the experts and it's not at a dealership, but with guys who own n work on their Toyotas.
