I did with one guy who would not let up about his opposition to people getting a lift when they don't need it for off-roading. Effing ass-clown.

I know what you mean. Mine and I have an agreement.... if one leaves, the other gets to go along, too! We used to laugh about it when the kids were around making them think that we were going to leave them behind. One even commented once "If you leave who will remind us to take out the trash" and the other one said "you mean that we'll have to cut the grass, too?" We never left, and they are both grown and gone now with families of their own.

Never Never Modify! Keep it aggravation free!
Living in New Jersey, I already had two tacoma's rust out. My 99 was bought back from Toyota and my 2009 had the frame replaced. My 2019 already has rust and my power steering lines and front trans lines near the radiator had to be replaced. Since this is my last tacoma, I really need to try to preserve it with fluid film. They did a great job and I am hoping it will save it from disintegrating.

I’ve always had a shell and it’s the best upgrade in my trucks day to day utility. Welcome to the club.

No good pictures - but I changed my spark plugs. My 2017 limited is at about 60,000 miles, so it was time. For being “the most difficult DIY maintenance,” it was actually really easy and pretty fun, albeit relatively time consuming.

I’ve had both shells, tonneau and bare back trucks and there are advantages and drawbacks for each. In retrospect the best of both was a shell that was easily removed. But currently I have a backflip on my Tacoma and a bed locker on my 2003 GMC Dually

Sorry to here that. Absolutely ridiculous what BS excuses companies will come up with to weasel out of there warranty. You would think they would honor there warranty, instead of now getting bad reviews. Says A LOT about who they really care about. P.S. It's not the customer

The color differences from all the pieces bugged me so I removed all the accent pieces that I wanted to change, dechromed the OEM vent rings and then repainted those and the cooler-looking MESO pieces for the rest of the accents so it all matches. Took a few days but the results were absolutely worth it. Probably have 20+ MGM interior accents now that are all a 100% match to each other. The finished product came out super subtle and I almost wish I went with a more aggressive color like bronze as you can almost not tell anything was changed.

Not a great pic but it's super clean in there:

About 2 years give or take. It's under warranty. I was wondering if moisture got to them. All the other bulbs in the kit work fine and if I swap the one good signal bulb to the other side it works fine, so it has to be the bulb or something in that section of wire.

Do that every year before the snow hits, the frame/underside will outlast the rest of the vehicle.

It’s design around a 35”, a 37 would be the max I would put on there.

Also native language - Abenaki roughly translated as "Mountain that stands alone". I've been up Monadnock at least 30 times in my life, it is a great mountain for a day hike. People claim it is the second most climbed mountain on the planet after Mt Fuji.

No way to get a Tacoma to the top though unless you really want to upset the park rangers...

It does not fit because aluminum one is a Lexus OEM part, not a Tacoma OEM part.
Same Lexus aluminum housing, 15620-31060, fit my 2014 4 cyl RAV4 and 2022 6 cyl Taco. Central tube was correct height in both cases.

I prefer MichaelPro oil filter tool to MontivX. It is made out of steel vs. aluminum. Part# MP009081, $20 vs $30. Also engages only the top of the filter housing, not side fins. Top uses a common 12mm (IIRC) 6-sided nut driver vs special buy 24mm for MotiviX.
