I was called a 'Poser' in another thread for lifting/upgrading my 'daily driver' Tacoma when admitting that my off-roading is never more than the occasional gravel road.

If every owner adopted this 'Poser' attitude, most Aftermarket Parts Suppliers and Customizing Shops would go out of business! I also think that Toyota would stop selling its TRD Off-Road and Pro models due to low demand.

If you're a 'Poser' like I am, be proud that you're supporting this awesome Off-Road trucking industry!

Yup, I'm a "poser" with my small lift.

I totally get where you're coming from! I mean, who doesn't love upgrading their ride to make it look and perform better, even if they're not hardcore off-roaders? I've got a lifted Tacoma too, and yeah, I mostly stick to paved roads, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate the extra clearance and aggressive look. And let's be real, those TRD Off-Road and Pro models are designed to appeal to a wide range of buyers, not just rock-crawling enthusiasts. So, own that "Poser" label and keep on customizing – you're helping to keep the off-road industry thriving!

Who cares what they say, it’s your truck. Do what you want with it.

True, but being 'somewhat' new to this forum I just assumed that all members were generally supportive of other Tacoma owners, regardless of how they upgrade and use their trucks.

That's a pretty truck. When I bought my 2023 limited last Dec, I had the choice of White or Black. My all-time favorite color is the Voodoo Blue though. I'm almost tempted to get mine wrapped in that color, but I agreed with my wife (for once) that doing so would be a colossal waste of money.

yeah, there’s lots of members here good and bad. One was a vendor and kept arguing with customers. Spent so much time arguing, they could’ve just made that bumper with all that energy put in to that argument. They’re banned now. Eventually, they’ll show their way out.
