I try and avoid too much sun anymore. I’ve gotten burned way too many times and I’m paying the price now. The cool thing is I have my Dermatologist in my contacts.

 

I told my co-worker “I saw you walking your dogs yesterday”
She said “Those weren’t my dogs, they were my sisters”
I said “Really? Well, your sisters are ugly”

 

So should I sell this or build it into something. I originally built a gear hauler that I never used and then just recently tore it down. The wood was going bad.

if you ain't gonna use it, get rid of it!!

 

I would make it into a camp trailer. Put some storage on it and a RTT. Big tires, heavier springs, etc.

 

never had a heat related rash - and i used to work in the swamp, in fully damp or submerged clothes, for a long time

but rashes are way better than poision ivy and at least you can't accidentally spread a rash to your genitals like you can with poison ivy
i don't know this from personal experience but i've met a few who learnt this one the hard way

Story Time with Gritto

Summer of '71, and I was in the YCC (Youth Conservation Corps), at the age of 16.
Gettysburg National Military Park.
We stayed at Camp Eisenhower, an old motel on the Emmitsburg Road that the Park Service bought, which no longer exists.
The Park was expanding just then... acquiring and tearing down non historical buildings.


A few of us got detailed one day to clear some brush with Pulaskis (brush axes) and machetes.
Long pants, boots, gloves.
Didn't help one guy at all.

Apparently he took off a glove to take a leak.
You can guess the rest
He was absolutely miserable.

Personally, I can weed whack poison ivy in shorts, no socks and all I get is minor itching, if that
The sooner you wash it off with soap and cold water, the better.

 

Thankfully I don’t react to it… I was the brave warrior in the family when it came time… wait… wasps, roaches, bugs, vermin… seems they sent me first! I don’t remember having a red shirt.
