I hadn't really thought about how long it's been. I'm seventy-one and retired twenty years ago so pretty much the same age as you when I cut the umbilical cord. I have no idea what the date was though. I was so focused on getting out the door that I'm pretty sure the jet wash adjusted time and space anyways.
I'm convinced the secret to BP is happiness and not letting anything stress you. A mind set. And the secret to cholesterol is a handful of almonds a few times a week. But it may be different for others. Just gotta figure it out.
Congrats on your 25 year old retirement Philip. Here's to the next twenty-five...

Good morning Susan, fellas/gals/however you identify.
My bp has increased a little over the years, still within bounds. Wish my feet and toe were better so I can get back to jogging a couple times a week.
Next trip to the range will shoot closer to my target as I’ve been told that is what I should be doing, just been wanting a little pride that I could hit somewhere close to what I needed to aim at from a little further out. Also, maybe closer I can see the white dots on my sights.

Nice! The guy I rode to Ohio with has 3 Moto Guzzis in his house. Another friend is in the process of restoring his Indian which will become a fixture in his den.

A little something every chance we get.
:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Every sports therapy day feels a little better, and lasts a little longer.

Everybody West of me PLEASE stay out of the wildfire range. It's just ridiculous how many there are.

The utility graffiti people are back; painted lines in the yard and the driveway. Lockhart is getting "Rise Broadband". It's too early to do anything but pre-register, but I cannot even find a price offering. More research will be needed.

Maybe I will get some pictures, but I think I missed the chance yesterday. Parts of downtown are now a movie set for "1923"; repainted, renamed, dozens of Model A vehicles. I'm told Helen Mirren will be in town, but she hasn't called me yet.

Googling for help on that stupid Geico app didn't make me happy. People have had the same complaints for over 3 years!

Guy I grew up with was a motorcycle mechanic, big Guzzi freak. Now this is back in the 70’s , “Motto Guzzi, man that sounds like some bad food “ with a Motown accent

Scary afternoon! A wildfire is about 7 miles from us and spreading our direction. Mandatory evacuation at the 7 mile line. As hot and dry as we have been, this is to be expected I guess. Watching closely!

Prayers for you and yours. Have an escape get out plan and be able to implement it in minutes. Gather important things like important papers, irreplaceable pictures, jewelry etc etc And have them ready to go in a moments time.
A good friend of mine, a former police lieutenant detective lost their house to a wild fire a couple years ago. The fire moved super fast, he grabbed a patrol car and went to rescue his wife. When he got there the fire was closing in all around. He got his wife and nothing else. The roads were packed with cars. They didn’t think they were going to make it out . They did make it out unscathed but they saved nothing. 40 years of marriage, raising their family and everything else all destroyed. They got out with only the cloths on their back. So Philip if the time comes get out immediately and just go. Take care of yourself.
