Lol,, no anxiety. As I said "I didn't think it was a problem". The weird small clunk sound is odd, that's all.

You must have an experimental model cause it’s impossible for an engine to start without cranking, turning over, rolling over etc. lol

Lol. I understand that. But what is crazy.... sometimes my starter is engaged for just a mili second and I hear a loud click and it's running. I got to paying attention after OP's post. And noticed it happens while engine is still hot and just been off for a few minutes. All good and not worried about it. Just letting OP know it's all good. Cold start is normal crank couple times.

I haven’t experienced that with mine but I’m going to pay more attention to it now that I know others have.

Most of us have plenty of knowledge of engines but your writing skills need more work lol. An engine can’t start without it turning over (“rolling over”) at least partially so your post made no sense.

If I stare at a red-light and think real hard I can make it turn green.

    Just a question,

When you stick your shiny thing into the steering column, do you rotate it (the shiny thing) just to the "Run" position and the engine starts? Or do you turn it (the shiny thing) to the start position?

Mine does the same thing. When resting for a short period of time. Turning the keep almost automatically starts the car without it making a full rotation. I think it's fine.

    Whole lotta' momentum
Same here. Not sure what engine OP has but my V6 acts the same way. Not sure if it has anything to do with the temperature of the engine but it never gets THAT cold here in Georgia so no real way to know.
