long bed decked

wow these are 1500 USD now... are they worth it? anyone want to sell me one?

 

"worth it" is subjective. One could owe on their truck, live paycheck to paycheck, and not be able afford new leaf springs, or one could be a multi millionaire and need drawers to keep their riches in.
I have one in a SB, that I bought used.

Pros:
well designed and built
seems nearly watertight
locks (not gonna stop anyone but the handle-pullers
nice to have storage of items left in
resale looks to be good

Cons:
heavy, if carrying any additional weight, you will need at least a helper springs
takes up a ton of room in an already shallow truck box\
heavy loads must be heaved up even higher off the ground

Keep making posts. At least you’re past the 30 day rule for bst. The newer version of the decked looks much nicer. I had a two drawer version but was not satisfied.

 

I have the new Decked system arriving Tuesday for my Longbed.
