Im trying to mount my water tank in the bed of my truck, but I am not sure about the best way to secure it. Any ideas?

Yeah. If you don't want it to get ripped off, look into some security fasteners for one.

You can buy T nuts that fit in the bedrails. You could then find an L bracket that goes down and under the tank at each end. Then find a large U bolt to secure the tank to the L brackets.

I assume the wheel well is supporting that very heavy load. If not, plan for that. Otherwise it could damage the entire bedside.

Also, mount it on the passenger side to reduce Taco lean. Driver, gas tank, and battery are constant loads on the driver side.

Also a candidate for bed reinforcement brackets, which could provide an alternative strong hard point to fasten the end of the tank near the tailgate.
