The 8AT in the Tacoma is a brand new iteration.

The 6MT has been used in Hilux and Fortuners (think 4Runners ugly sister) for almost a decade.

Toyota makes multiple 8 speed autos.

This 8spd, AL80F, is only in the 4wd 4th gen Tacoma, new Land Cruiser, and 6th gen 4Runner.

The tenor of conversation related to anything carrying a TNGA-F stamp on its rump recently has migrated from typical Toyota owner declarations of “statistical anomaly…these things never break!” to “well, at least it’s not as bad as Jeep!”

Hopefully Toyota rights the ship quickly (2025) not just for their own sales stats, but b/c they’re asking new owners to carry way too much water uphill for them these days. That’s as un-Toyota-like as it gets.

After all the bashing and stupid videos and talking about not keeping up with the Jones he literally went an bought a house in the burbs, remodeling it and bought literally like $120k of Toyotas including a new Sequoia (he's a dumba** since its the same motor and components he trashes in his videos), 4runner and the tundra. God these youtubers.

Maybe he thinks that's enough to get him invited to the 2025 Toyota--Hawaii event

I will admit I watch his videos I knew he just bought the Pro 4 runner and I did see the Sequoia in the last one but I don't think he mentioned it. And it seems like everyone is bashing or won't click on his videos yet he seems to get posted a fair bit on here.

What type of mods? I have put 285's on the black muffler tip from Toyota, AFE pro dry s air filter, blacked out the front emblem, ceramic coat, a few cheap ebay interior things and have the black interior door handle covers coming from AJT. I try not to mod my daily to much but waiting for someone to put an exhaust on theirs AFE has a few exhaust options.

Mods like a cold air intake, Lifting it, or more efficient hot and cold feed tubes for the turbo, maybe a wastegate modify so they could hear it and yes also the aftermarket exhaust that are out there, and stuff like that.
    FYI
I thought magna flow made a much better system than AFE for the exhaust.

I always seem to go with AFE products I did notice they have charge pipes on their site. Surprised they don't have a CAI yet

Hence, why I suggested magna flow, and they just are a superior product overall.
But I am glad to see that AFE were the only ones that actually had the charge pipes that looked correct.
These will be the two main things I will be doing to my hybrid when I get it along with some form of cold air intake

What he didnt mention and you can't see is the house, the amount of money spent remodeling, and the $100k of Toyotas in his driveway.

Hey YouTube friends. Just wanted to give you a quick update on my new Instagram ready life. I've got all my Toyotas out front here. We have some great neighbors and I need to make sure they think I'm financially well off, so that's why I parked them here. I know a lot of viewers live vicariously through every second of my existence, and I feel like I owe the channel this update.

Let's do a quick walkaround on the house. This is our new patio. Over there I'm putting in an outdoor bidet, and a hot yoga area for pets. Hey doggo! He loves yoga. This sod is amazing. I got tall fescue. We'll do a 3" cut, then backroll it so you get the nice stripes in it like a baseball field. In the garage, I painted it black. I love the Rolling Stones. The paint is still wet. Inside, we had an interior designer friend, she's on Insta if you want to throw her a follow, who got us some of these amazing chairs from Hermann Miller. I love these Tom Dixon decanters. They're great for company. They match the marble plinth from Christopher Knight.

Anyway, don't mind the boxes, lol, let me step over here. So to save a little money, we didn't use actual marble outside on the veranda. We used an acid-stained concrete finished with TRD glass accents and sealed with four layers of hand rubbed finish. I love all the little Toyota accents we added through the house, like the red piping on the corinthian leather recliners in the theatre room.

So I'll be a little slow with the updates in a few months guys, but don't worry, when we do a house warming I'll do a full update! Thanks for watching!
