yeah, that was a really good one. ended well. too bad season finale is coming up which means next season is few years away

 

damn were you ever right. Feels like the last 2 years went by in the blink of an eye, one day a friend tells me that season 2 was starting last month and I nearly laughed it off. Two years went by like just like that

I'm glad we are getting to see the beginning of the Hugh Hammer character, when they started introducing him as a commoner earlier this season I thought we wouldn't get to see him claim a dragon until season 3.

I've liked season 2 a lot so far, but the "all out war" they claimed season 2 was going to be back in 2022 was a bit of an exaggeration. At least as far as what we've actually been shown.

 

It was a really good episode!
First time I think I've ever seen Aemond and Vhagar
even the tiniest but worried in a potential confrontation.

 

I'm home and will watch it again on my 65" TV!!!

 

I thought Vhagar wasn’t gonna listen for a second there

 

Aemond screamed out like he did the last time he tried to stop Vhagar.

This time, Vhagar wasn't provoked...hence the easy convincing. lol

 

Rhaenyra mentioned that Vermithor was the largest (known) dragon in the world after Vhagar so now that he's got a rider from her side, plus Seasmoke, Silverwing and Syrax (and Caraxes if Daemon ever comes back) they definitely have the edge on Aemond and the rest of the greens dragon-wise.

But it all gets flipped upside down in time, nothing is a sure thing in this series except that both sides and all their dragons end up dead (based on what we know from Game of Thrones, that this war is what does them all in).

 

It seems like it should take years to learn how to be an effective dragon rider in combat.

 

Not with super fast writing you don't!

 

Truth.

 

It will be interesting to see how much further and in what ways they will differ from the books.

 

All I know is the next 2 episodes (Finale of S2 and S3E1) should be epic and set up some crazy shit!

 

I kind of hope they do what I keep hearing about (doesn't really mean anything) and change Rhaenyras fate from the books..........CHOMP!

 

They can't, Game of Thrones Season 3 Episode 4 mentions what happens to her, so it would be a huge mistake if you ask me

 

Yep, when Joffery was talking to Margaery Tyrell he explained her fate. We know they diverged from the book some already, but we'll have to wait and see if they take it any further.

 

I'm gonna review this now...even though I don't want it to be true. lol

Watching "Elizabeth Taylor, The Lost Tapes" on MAX until showtime.
