    Ask about our BumperShellz
Hey guys! I'm from Ecoological and we make BumperShellz! We're a family owned and operated business producing aftermarket truck overlays (and accessories) right here in the USA!

A lot of 3rd Gen guys know us because we've been making these bad boys for quite a while and started painting them in OEM colors in the last 2 years:

    Facebook ad image smaller.jpg dt30ag small.jpg

But we're working on the 4th Gen right now! We've got quite a few ideas about what we want to make, and we're developing those parts right now, though I'm not at liberty to talk about them at the moment. Of course, while we have our list of ideas, we want to see what you all wish the 4th Gen had!

    • What should Toyota had added?
    • What should Toyota have NOT done to the truck?
    • What would have made this truck badasser?
We really want to go ALL OUT on the 4th Gen and we want to make sure we're developing products that people actually want and just stuff WE think would look cool. How'd that Joe Dirt quote go? "It's not what you like, it's the consumer"?

    Thanks in advance y'all.

I'll jump in - I'd like a smooth replacement for the fake vents under the headlights that look like tear drops. Something painted the factory paint colors to match. I've seen a few posts on replacement lights for those fake vents, but I'm not too fond of them either to be honest.

100% Ecoological is an awesome company that produces top quality products.

I’d like to see what a body color teardrop cover would look like. I think smoothing out around the headlights would look much better.

Body color interior trim to cover the plain black plastic bits. I picked up some CF looking plastic parts, but body color options would be nicer.

PS…say hi to Grant for me.

I’d love smaller fender flares. I like the fact that my off road has matte black flares so that paint won’t chip off of them. But I wish the flares were a little smaller and not as bulky, something similar to what the current generation Tundra has.

By making it not so fucking big. That's a full size truck parked next to me in this photo. I literally can't even.

Thanks for vouch, sir! I've got your number saved and we'd love to get your help again when we're ready to test some parts, which might be a lot sooner than you think!

Hmm... what exactly do you mean by "smaller"?

This is my truck, big bulky flares.

What about something smaller and lower profile “similar” to this.

Thanks for contribution to the discussion. Why did you even buy it if you can’t even? I’m coming from a GM half ton and there is significantly more room in my garage with the Tacoma.

Agree with you on the painted flares on an off road model though.

I’d like to see a front air dam half as tall as the original. I realize I could just remove it, but I don’t like how the fender well felt just wraps around under the fender, all exposed. It looks unfinished and cheap on such an expensive vehicle.

To be fair, I've never been able to even.

Okay, I see. I know we have something planned for the fender flares, but I can't promise that it will be to make them smaller because we typically don't make you remove anything. but I've been wrong before... many times, in fact. And we really want to make things that Tacoma owners will use and be excited about

How would I change the exterior? I'd get rid of the hideous slanted rear bumper that chops off the lower rear corner of the bed!
