good guess. 3year old bike with 7xx miles. Luckily, the local dealer stepped up and offered support as my dad was a multiple time customer. However, it never came home from the dealer after it went in. That's sorta put me off from ever wanting to own a Ducati.

I apprenticed across the alley from a Ducatti.

I really wanted a monster, and fell in love with the brand.

They would adjust valves on the dyno daily, and I thought it was so cool.

Then I learned it was the crazy maintenance that was required on them, especially the top end bikes.

The Desert X and monsters are still dreams but I'd likely have an aprilia before a ducatti now.

Ducati isn’t even on my radar for a bike I would ever want, also Aprilla, MV Augusta ect. Japan made bikes are just cheaper to service and most of the time cheaper to own. Never wanted an exotic.

Played golf again today. I hate this damn game!! lol. Ball went into the edge of the woods. Went in and found neddles that rubbed on my left shin. Still stings right now.
I think it’s time for a couple lessons so I can have a pro help me get my swing more consistent. Shot a 99 last week and now a 109 on a different course that was harder. I hit most of my drives straight but not long and hit only one good solid iron shot that was a lay up. This game can drive someone crazy.
Then came home and rode the KLX to a doc appt. Then came home and the wife and I took off on the monkey and her scooter to Mexican for a burrito and a margarita. Not a bad day except for the golf. Lol

The Tuono, like I have, is the naked. The RSV4 is the fully faired superbike. They’re great bikes, and believe it or not, maintenance isn’t bad on the Tuono. They don’t need valve checks nearly as often (every 12k) as the RSV4 because the redline isn’t as high. MotoClub Los Angeles should have some you can test ride

The new SE-09 SBK Editions are

ZRX rear tire picked up a nail recently so after a little bit of putting it off and saving (tire is low tread anyways so not worth patching/plugging), I order a Metzeler RoadTec 01 and it'll be in tomorrow! Already got it apart and ready to go.

Have now put about 1300 miles on this bike in 4 months and it has been awesome! Starting college in a month and it's going to be my daily. The ZRX is everything research told me it would be and more.

Brother also got his license (and endorsement) this past week so we've been riding together now!

Is it the high seat back that makes "the look"?

This was a fun accomplishment to see today, 250K views on my youtube, something over 15,000 hours of views. I've wasted a hell of a lot of peoples time

Italian bikes aren't nearly as maintenance heavy as they used to be. Mine has to get valve checks every few years though, and it is expensive and obnoxious. However. If you haven't ridden one, there is a distinctive different feel. Older twin Ducatis are mean, like an angry dog, visceral, ready to bite. The low rpm torque is snatchy and aggressive. The fit and finish is light years beyond what the Japanese bikes are, for better or worse. And the aftermarket support is significantly better, way cooler parts to appeal to the show off dudes in Ducati branded leathers and boots and helmets. They do have more quirks, I've seen more Ducatis have manufacturing flaws than any other, and dealing with Italian companies can be frustrating. Not for everyone, but if you get a chance, take one for a spin. They're narrow and fast and fun. The street fighter v4 sp2 is even cooler in person than you could believe. It looks like you have no business being in the same room as it, it's just that much better than you

You realize that at the heart of it all, the object of golf is to play less golf........

maybe, the V4 has a similar high rear end as well though. i just find the curves and cutouts on the V2 to be much more attractive in my eyes.

    Now that's a proper beauty
