If you can afford it buy it. You can't spend the money you have when your dead, just sayin.

Attached is my 2021 SR. Don't spend all that money on a TRD. If you like my build let me know and I'll give you all the details.

I’m still here haha. I took everybody’s advice and kept building out my truck. Since the pic I’ve added a 3 inch lift and some other little stuff here and there.

My first Tacoma that I've owned about a month. 2023 SR 5 with 18k. I call it a "rescue" as it went from factory to rental company with me as second owner. Already invested over a grand on top of purchase and expect another grand will follow. Don't off road much but in the NorthEast most normal roads are terrible most of the year. Concentrated on adding some convenience, appearance & protection to what most would consider a bear bones ride. Last truck was a fully loaded Lariat so gotta ways to go but no complaints. Enjoy driving and doing the mods.

Looks awesome. You were able to install fog lights on the SR? Was it difficult? And which did you use? Thanks

I had a shop near me install them. I went with the diode dynamics SS3 Pro. I can’t really speak on the difficulty since the shop did it but it did not take them very long to do.

Thanks brother. Sometimes I regret getting the MGM color way when I see a silver sky haha.

Looks good bro. Happy you stayed with SR gang haha.
I think about sometimes how i wished i would've just swung for the TRD-offroad but i still can't justify the +10k I paid for my truck for one.
2.7l 4x4 Access cab is a perfect truck for me. while a little slow at times it is a unique combo that I love.

Thanks man. Yeah I've looked into it and it seems as though some SR's have the wiring for it and some don't. There's also a post about it showing how to, but it just confused the hell out of me. The only thing left for me to get to is the fogs if I have the wiring.

I think silver is such a bland color sometimes, but I love how it looks on my truck! I’ve also done some upgrading on my SR and will definitely keep it up unless someone wants to trade me for a double cab.

Too little too late, but...Buy once, cry once.

Perhaps a Pro is in OP's future after the dust settles on Toyota's imploded reputation in the wake of Tundra main bearing snafu's and 4th Gen Tacoma transmission failures.
