I've been thinking about this guy all week, he was never caught after starting fires in Lyons at the start of July

    I'll aim for Sunday morning.

It'll give us more time to put my UCAs, LCAs, and coil overs on.

Damn. Hoping you’d be slipping a bit. But you’re still sharp as a tack.

I hate to say it, but will prolly never buy a new Toyota. I'll stick with the older models until they run out. That old Tundra will prolly outlast me and the newer trucks anyway. They really need to go back to the sticks coming thru the floor and get rid of the knobs and buttons. Yes, it has a button, but no traction control, that's all me.
Mechanical interface with a butt dyno will always outlast and perform better than circuitry.
I've seen first hand "traction control" keep a truck stuck in the snow until it was turned off and the wheels allowed to spin. Drove right thru it then. Now it actually breaks the axles.

And the new Tundra engine recall.

Hell I’m weary of my 04 compared to my 98. Probably unsubstantiated fear but something about the ETCS and ABS that whisper bad things in the back of my mind.

That said I do keep thinking about my dream truck: 1st Gen double cab Tundra with the 4.7. But I always talked myself out of one because of the fuel economy.

Meanwhile my 04 Tacoma double cab sucks ass with mpg.

Saw your link. I'd buy a Pinto before a new taco. But the next article was about Valvoline & CO employees. I know these types of contracts happen in banking & investing, but I never thought they existed in the auto world!

They exist everywhere. But not as enforceable as many think.
I had a non compete with my former employer. When he canned me and I started taking his customers away, he had his attorney send a cease and desist letter to me. I sent it back saying I did not cold call anyone, they contacted me. Prove otherwise. That was the end of it.

Yeah exactly. Theres nothing record breaking happening this year. High temps and low rain fall is par for the course. What's not normal is a new fire starting every day in close proximity to people and infrastructure. I really hope you're wrong and that's not the case that these are intentional.

Are y'all saying you believe these fires are intentional or simply human-caused?

I have no trouble believing they're human-caused. I also have no trouble believing that they're accidentally human-caused, which is not arson.
