Also, the uneven tread difference has to be 2/32" for a claim to be denied. Any tires within that spec should be covered. But that might mean only two or three out of the four are eligible.

I thought all tire manufacturers’ mileage warranties were worthless bs, as there is always a reason that can be used to make every claim not covered.

has anyone ever gotten free new tires based off a manufacturer mileage warranty ? And not a separately purchased hazard insurance type thing?

I have never tried getting warranty claim for tires not making it to their treadwear warranty. It is probably as hard as getting the mattress company to honor their sag warranty.

I like all the duratrac love in here, usually it's just kbro circle jerk.
If your not opposed to going to an LT tire check out the yoko G017. It took everything I liked about the duratrac and improved on it. Currently running a studded set in the winter.

Ive had three sets of Falken Wildpeaks.
Great tires, don't really pay attention to mileage warranty. When I need new tires, I buy new tires.

I average 60,000 miles on my Falken Wildpeaks. Even with pulling a 20 ft bay boat. I even have them on my daughters 4Runners. Probably bought 4 or 5 sets all together. No issues at all. :burnrubber:

I bought a set for the Ram 1500 I had in 2018 and at the time they were a bargain priced tire and IMO were a good value. Now that they're priced up there with higher end brands they're no longer a good buy to me.

I'm with you on that one. They seem to be a good all around tire, not amazing in anyway (except maybe wet traction, I love them for that).

They used to be a great value, but now they are priced more in line with the competition, so they don't have as much edge. I'll probably still buy them again, though, because I have no complaints for my use case (although it might depend on how the updated Geolander ATs perform).

@Schlappesepple I found they wore out quickly too. I went with Cooper Rugged Treks on my Taco and while they're a little more noisy I'm very happy with their performance in rain and snow as well as how they're holding up as far as treadwear.

Mine are actually wearing great: 20k miles and look almost new (haven't measured them, though).

I generally get good life out of tires, so ymmv.

I've got 61k on mine, they are ready to be replaced soon but I'm opting for a new truck instead.

Falken P rated do seem to wear quickly. I've had a few sets of LT AT3/W and the first set had 35k miles and 14/32's still. I ultimately sold them for new AT3/W's because they were 5-6 years old. AT3/W has been my favorite LT tire. But those new Yoko AT XD's mentioned look awesome! I'll try them on my next vehicle or 5 years down the road when my Falkens start to wear lol.

I can't speak for long term usage of Falkens but I will say that I work at a place that receives over 5,000 tires a day, install them on wheels and ship them out to OEM. Never had a single issue with Falken tires but I can't say the same for other tire brands.
