I'm hoping work will pay me for what I have into this, maybe try to build another.

 

Oh it'll be fine regulatory wise, I don't think they're are any requirements there

 

Just make sure you test for ground between points after wiring stuff up and see if there's any resistance. You never know if the box isn't fully welded or something or if perhaps the holes are painted

Well it works, but it also leaks everywhere so that's good

It says not to use tape, but I did, gotta find whatever else

 

Pipe dope works but really tape+dope works best. I just use tape usually but you gotta wrap enough of it

 

And here I thought I taped too much

 

Also the hose clamps are leaking, wondering if I needa tighten them more or if they're work at all

 

I try to avoid using worm clamps as much as possible. Especially if you're going to make more of these things get some cheap oetiker clamps. Then all you have to do is slip one on and use the little crimp pliers and it provides good tension around the whole joint and it's much cheaper than buying worm clamps too

Is $180 fair cost on a tire swap + balance + disposal for 4 tires, from one set of wheels to my set of wheels?

 

Pretty good really, my local place charges that much for small tires (32 and below) and an extra $5 for 33 and over.
