Moved four tons of wood pellets into my basement today - I usually do half at a time but just wanted it done.

Then I decided mowing and weedwacking was a good idea. I think I am going to be feeling it tomorrow.

 

I've been looking at getting pellets delivered before needing them - insane how the prices never really came down. $400/ton for middle of the road stuff is bananas.

 

I paid $390/ton for Vermont Wood Pellets, which are the best I have used (minus the 500+/ton Northern Warmth Douglas Firs).

I think I could have gotten them a little cheaper if I went to another dealer where I can pick them up, but I took the easy way out this time.

Hot damn, they showed GOLF for 10 minutes yesterday and I was so happy to see other stuff! The fact they're showing qualifier rounds of swimming without any US athletes, instead of US athletes IN a medal match for other sports is so damn annoying.

I also feel bad for like, team handball athletes - these people are in there for YEARS of training and practice, the best of the best, they get gold and are legends. But hey the swimmers can do like 2000 events in the same meet for a medal. Of COURSE they can be higher decorated (Same with gymnastics). But god forbid we watch anything other than an empty pool

I thought I was the only one who cares about the outlet screws!

So we don't have cable, we only have an OTA antenna. I'm sure I could find a way to make things happen online, ignoring the whole "is it legal?" question.

Although I did just watch about 2 seconds ago - the US just qualified for the 4x mixed relay by setting a world record. That's not qualifying, that's making a statement

I just got my HOI renewal. 17% YOY increase for us in RI. I know I looked to jump ship last year and this was still the cheapest option. Not going through that shenanigans this year, might revisit the hunt next year.

Screwless plates are nice, but pulling those covers off sometimes is a PITA lol

Peacock is definitely the way to watch. You can watch the events you want in entirety and no jumping around from sport to sport like on prime time.
