    Interesting evening yesterday - not sleeping not included.

    The B-I-L & friend (he drove), Mrs Green (she drove) and I (I also drove) met for dinner at a local restaurant at 6pm. Mrs Green pulls up only about 40 feet from me and her car coasts to a halt. o_O

    Seems the battery light came on (about 25 miles prior :rolleyes: ) and that is where the battery had given all it had to give. :facepalm:

    We ate, then I did a loop around town for an alternator ($184! :eek: ) then to the garage for some tools.

    The alternator is right on top of the engine, only a 12 MM wrench is required to change it, maybe 15 minutes work in the parking lot. I returned the old one for the $44 core charge at 8:55, that core was on top of the eye popping price.

    I was suspect of the alternator, it was already a replacement - probably an AMZ special. :boom:
