I wasn’t looking at the poll like that. I looked at it as, what would I enjoy getting stuck with… like gifted, but you can’t sell, trade, give away. I could only look at those a few times and the novelty of having them in a glass case by the entry will quickly wear off. I chose 3 cars that I’d enjoy driving and owning for pure fun. I realize others see each item differently, and that’s the results I looked forward to. Essentially, who else would I have to mud wrestle for each.

 

Have you seen the bitter slime video? I haven’t tried it yet, but wondered…

I’m sure the cast iron thread could give you a better assessment. I know there are some pretty good restoration techniques. My concern would be effective thickness after.

Agreed. I actually restore cast iron in my garage but have never done a piece this big before. Gonna need a lot of SOS pads.

 

I chose the slippers cause I'd wear them to formal events and the random bar mitzvah.
