Their albums are great, if you like weird, bass heavy music. Their later stuff got a little too weird for me, though. Frizzle Fry is probably my favorite album from them.

When I saw the Frog Brigade, they spent about an hour and a half playing 6 song, and that's not really my thing. I don't mind extending a song a little bit here and there. But, watching a bunch of guys stand on stage vamping the same note over and over again for like 10 minutes gets old. It was like everybody was looking at each other just waiting for one of the other guys to do a solo, but no one ever did.

Ya. That's no good...Perhaps that's why that one guy was on the ground?
Couldn't take the monotony. It was getting to him, getting to him, getting to him, getting to him, getting to him.....

    Lol!

Well, Primus doesn't really do that too much. It was the Frog Brigade show where they did that. Primus will extend out a song now and again, but it's usually not excessive.

Same. I need to pull the sliders and front bumper to sand blast and refinish them ahead of winter. I need to do a deep dive under the bonnet and clean the engine too.
Depending on the timing and weather I am going to try and hold off on my yearly fluid film application until after the Fall Colors trip.

Nice!!! Thought you wanted one from out west because of rust? How much has to go back in on top of the initial investment? Gears? Locker? Does it need to be narrowed up?

    @rubbersidedown started an avalanche :rofl:

I took my parents to O'Hare the night we had that heavy downpour and the Hydroslick was Chef's kiss.

@OldSchlPunk even did his wheels and can attest to how easy it is to clean now.

I saw Primus with @Thatbassguy at the Eagles club back in the 90s. Well, it wasn’t “with” James, but we both figured out it must have the same show. They played for 40 minutes then they just left. :p

They were pretty good for most of those 40 min from what I recall lol.

That's right! That was a very weird show. I was going to mention it in my other post, but I forgot to.

I don't know if they were having technical issues or what the deal was. But, less only played the old four string Piccolo bass, and maybe the whamola. Normally he would change basses a bunch of times.

For your use? Just put in gears, locker and stuff it under the truck.

Foe me, I just want the C’s and outers to build a 609 axle with a fabbed housing and a high pinion 9” third. Lighter, narrower and arguably stronger.

How hard is the “stuff it under the truck. Seems to me there is some steering to figure out as well as springs or links to make happen…

No cliffhanger. Let's just say that shenanigans got a little dicey and things didn't settle as well as they should have...tipped over golf cart, minor scrapes...nothing to see, really. Should've been a big chuckle.

So I went back to MexMuffler, talked to a different guy. Showed him what I needed. He thought the original quote might be the cleaner option, a quicker and easier option was offered. I went for that option at $150.

Left the house at 0715 this morning, it was 76*. Had a charity bike ride today, 28 miles. Went with a former co-worker, who retired a few weeks before me, his daughter, and granddaughter. Went really well, had a good time. Temp at finish was 89*. After being at the track yesterday, I'm baked. I got passed by 2 old ladies...they were riding electric bikes (cheaters).

About 200 yards from the turn into the finish area, a woman pulls along side me. I looked at her and said: I can't do it, I'm turning around! I thought she was going to fall off her bike laughing.

His sister, her boyfriend, and her 2 sons also rode, but they lolly-gagged all day, we hardly saw them. BTW, in the background is Grignon Mansion in Kaukauna, WI.
