Glad you are ‘only sustained minor damage and a concussion’ from an accident that result of your total loss vehicle. Wishing a rapid recovery to you!

Wow, welcome back!! Curious- how much, if any, did the rescue crew have to cut with their jaws of life to extricate you from inside of there? I am amazed at how torn open the cab was and wonder if there was additional cutting after the accident? It’s impressive how much force you endured and survived! Take care and heal well.

Glad you are OK! IMHO, I've recovered from a few too many concussions and I'll just add, be careful getting out on an uneven trail and jogging until you're sure your balance and depth perception can handle it!

Dibs on the ............. Oh snap!!!!!!!! Nothing left to call dibs on!!!

Wow! I'm overwhelmed by so many kind comments so fast . Thanks so much to everyone for the kind wishes and great comments. They really made me laugh out loud in a good way. This forum is full of so many great folks! I'll just list alittle more info instead of replying to each comment. I do not actually know how I got out of the Tacoma but the rescue personnel on site said I was already out when they arrived. I do not remember self rescuing or being helped out. I was not thrown out because I had a seat belt on as I always do. I suspect I was helped out by a person who stopped. I am doing pretty good and getting alot of rest and going for walks (not up to trail jogging yet but soon I hope). I had a follow up Dr visit today and he said I should expect to be fully recovered and back to work in a few weeks barring any changes. When I do get around to replacing my truck I am tempted to go new gen 4 TRD OR. But I will do alot more research on this forum first. Thanks again to everyone and hope to be posting soon about my replacement vehicle. Be safe out there all

Eh just focus on helping up, don’t rack your brain on that stuff just yet. No need to add stressors just yet.

Just a few accessories, mud flaps, bed cover , racks, seat covers, ….
This is the main reason I've bought a Tacoma.

The safety of almost all vehicles manufactured today is light-years ahead of just 10 years ago. Not saying all vehicles would perform as well as Tacoma, but all vehicles handle crashed better.
