I got the grill off of a seller/dealership on ebay. Wasn't cheap, seems like white OEM trim pieces and campershells are far & few in between and bring a premium price tag.

Bunch of little things on the 2014 over the last 2 or 3 weeks. Sold the cap and cleaned up the wiring and weather stripping for it, center console organizer, pulled the bed bolts and anti siezed them, unifilter mod, pcv valve. Did front seat jackets, which I like better than the rear of the seat ones I have on the 2015. Upgraded the speakers with Alpine components in the front doors and some Kickers in the rear ones. Last but not least, I removed the badges this morning. Next weekend I'm changing the oil and diff fluids and lubing the driveshaft. Also on the lookout for a set of trd or 4runner rims.

Replaced my driver window glass check yesterday. Finally finished replacing all the parts in the door and window rolls just like normal again.

How did you disassemble the OEM grille? I have an 05 and it looks like the only way to remove the OEM center grille insert is with a dremel. Which is why I've had the pro grille insert sitting in my garage for 6 months....

I had a diy thread from years back, I basically just redid what I did before, except there’s no passenger seat airbag bypass anymore so I just did what a lot of others have had to do which is remove the weight sensors from the passenger seat and clamp them with hose clamps to arm the airbag for passengers.

Installed new bed cap rails and tailgate cap from @KB Voodoo. These things are really nice. My stock rails are cracked and damaged from abuse and my GFC

The front is an OEM grill I found on ebay. The rear was done using 'Bumpershellz'. USA made covers for bumpers and trim. I was sceptical but they had good reviews, though a lot of people commented on having to make some modifications to get the fit right around the license plate light housing holes and the center black trim piece. Fortunately my set was only off to a small degree and I was able to get it all done with some elbow grease. They were about 150 dollars if I remember correctly. Cheaper than a new bumper, safer than DIY "color match", and more satisfying than settling for black paint or plasti dip. Would recommend.

Between yesterday and today, I wrapped up this kayak cradle mount. I built it out of the rooftop bike carrier I built for my Impreza. It ties into the bed rails and rests across the tops of the bed sides. I'm going to revisit the bed rail mount brackets, but this will do for now.

The noses of the boats stick down into the front wall/floor corner of the bed, and the cradles keep the boats stood up on their sides so we can fit all three at once. One strap around each boat & cradle, and another strap across the front of the bed to keep their noses down works well. This also keeps some of the bed space accessible through the tailgate.

Shown here with one boat, I had to remove the other two to flip the cradles around and wasn't in the mood to load them back up just for a pic, lol.

    W63,
Good afternoon! Where did you order your bumper covers from? What finish did you go with? How’s the fit? I’m contemplating buying the covers for my Tacoma Blackout project.
    Thx, A.T. Hun
