Im tryin, i should've made the move here to the mountains years ago. I always stop to help them cross the road.

 

I’ve been trying to talk my wife into it… well that and I’d need a job close to there. My job has an office in Charleston but it covers all of WV and the part of VA below it down to NC.

Morning all… thinking about hitting the ponds up today with the boy and some friends. With these big pop-up storms, the lake just ain’t worth it.

 

That looks really nice! Definitely going to have to check out their schedule and make a trip out one night soon!

Morning/ afternoon all. @$500TRD how's Berkely springs? Wanted to try out the hot springs out this weekend, but decided to stay inside

 

I spent the morning out on the kayak to get the feel of it. It's so stable within a hour I was casting while standing. It's only 60lbs so it's easy to throw up on the roof. Next Saturday morning I might hit Sleepy Creek Lake with it.

 

It's nice. Wife and I along with friends go down to the hot springs on Saturday evenings for the free concerts in the park. Always a great time.

Very peaceful. I'd still be out on the river if I didn't forget sun screen. I'm Irish, I'll get crispy quick lol.

 

Ohhh yeah, I know that struggle well. When we are at the beach I rock a long sleeve shirt and a bucket hat at all times lol

Perhaps a dumb question, wouldn't the brackets that he took off at 1:15 compromise the integrity? https://youtu.be/PbCH3XjBEWc?si=qH8B60tzA5_jqJsk

 

The skid ends up “filling in” for those brackets. I’m not an engineer but I doubt there is much, if anything loss. Now I wouldn’t drive around without that and without a skid that uses the bolt holes.

I’ve got that skid plate and like it! Eventually, I’ll get the transmission skid too.
