Thanks for the warm welcome. Yes, I love the color. I saw it on one the the auto sales sites and it immediately caught my eye. Price seemed fair enough. I had to drive 150 miles to get it but that’s nothing. I just ordered some seat covers for it and will get some Weather Tech mats before deer season starts. I hope to break in the bed with some deer blood if my season goes well.

 

A very inexpensive first mod that will serve for many uses ... A 4x6 "stall mat" from Tractor Supply Co, $50. Any utility knife can cut out for the wings for wheel wells. Non-slip, but I cannot comment on how blood will clean off it ... not sarcasm or comment on hunting, just speaking truth about "do not know how it cleans".

 

A Stall mat might be the ticket. I have a Tractor Supply 2 miles from my house.

 

Don't let Richochetrabbit hook you in, this site is dangerous with inexpensive first mods. I went from this to present in a year, but then again I've never had self control.

 

Agreed, "bankruptcy by a thousand tiny mods" is still the same result. But this mod seemed appropriate given his intended activity. If it helps keep the composite bed material cleaner with a bed pad that can be scrubbed outside the truck, I just may have done my good deed for the day. If I am wrong, I tried.

Mod 2: Rav4 radio knobs (you already know)
Mod 3: Side steps / running boards (for your lovely copilot)

I had a camper shell on my Z71 and loved it. I can see that in the future for sure.

 

Congrats, sweet looking truck! Right there with ya, I went from a 2019 Ram 1500 full size to my current Taco. Found it on cars.com on a Saturday… by Monday I had my son fly me down from VA to TN to pick it up quickly (he’s a flight instructor) and drove it back. I knew it was a unicorn the moment I saw it… 2023 TRD Sport with the 6MT manual and fully loaded (leather, moon roof, heated seats, premium tech package, etc. ). It only had 7900 miles, practically brand new. You’ll be super happy you switched to Toyota, I never looked back after I traded my Ram in (and it was a nice truck too.) These things will last forever if you take care of them. Congrats once again!

 

A long bed was a necessity for me.
