Installed a cabin air filter kit in the Miata this morning. Not that it needs a filter but there's absolutely nothing blocking where the air comes into the cabin under the cowl. This kit includes a screen for that intake and a cabin air filter. Because something definitely tried to make a nest at some point in the past.

At least they make a kit that covers the inlet. The matrix is impossible to cover.

To be fair, I've never had issues with mice. But obviously one of the previous owners must have.

    Squirrels on the other hand.....

Success! Was at 120psi and now at 70psi. No leaks! Only issue I ran into was unsoldering the old joints and cleaning the pipe. Ended up just cutting out the old joints. I have no clue what solder they used but it wasn’t melting even after holding the flame to it for a long time.

Yup. Ready as we can ever be. Added oil to the genny, and got beer and liquor. Kids will just be playing in puddles all week.

Making a beer and frozen pizza trip tomorrow. 20 inches with some areas getting 30?! Gonna be insane if it pans out. My girl at the hospital downtown already had Tuesday and Wednesday surgeries canceled.

What part of Charleston are you in? The literal highest point in west Ashley is in my back yard, and we've never even had water accumulate in the roads of our neighborhood, but we're only a couple of miles from areas where unfortunately peoples first floors will 100% be under water.

I'm on James Island, a few years ago it used to never really flood and stick around... all this development and the flooding is so much worse now.

I'm really curious how johns island handles it for the same reason. They've probably seen more development in the last 5 years than any other part of coastal Charleston.

I'm praying for you, low-country folks. Hopefully, it's not going to be as bad as forecasted.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
during the "100 year flood" or whatever, my neighborhood didn't have much, so hopefully that tracks.

    I'm just north of GC.
