Motorcycles BS Thread 2.0

I was always more of an ATV/4 wheel kinda guy, but have ridden things with two wheels since a kid... When my wife started reading and watching videos last year and was talking about counter steering I was so confused. To me, counter steering was what you do when you're power sliding a corner with your rear end hanging out sideways. I was wondering why she needed to know anything about that. Finally watched a video myself and was like... Oh... yeah... yup, i do that, but never thought anything of it or knew it even had a name, lol. Just something natural I learned when riding a bicycle, probably?

 

ya same the gf seems to like them and likes the dark blue they have so if it gets her out there then no complaints from me. thats good to have some experience at least it makes her not so well unknown like mr no idea where the rear brake is lol

 

She's not a fan of any of the colors really, she just wants to make sure it's an ABS model. She's already talking about having me pull the tank/fenders/covers off whatever she gets and she'll pay to have them painted/wrapped lol.

 

haha well at least she knows what she wants!

She does have an account... but it's been since before we were married that she got on here. She was trying to get me some custom graphics for the truck and the guy on here ghosted her apparently. She ended up ordering the ebay ones that I've still got on my truck. She's definitely a keeper... even with the menu anxiety.

 

To me, thats the biggest drawback to modulars. Big buckets, the I100 is significantly larger shell than the same size in a Symax which was a lot larger than the old Bieffe and Nava full face helmets which were my first fulls, which were a lot larger shell than the Bell 500 I started out with back in the 60's.

And really, I still like the Bell 500 to this day. I still throw one on for a nice Sunday morning ride a few times a year, but these days I am more worried about sun than crashing. Lost 3 friends to melanoma in the last year, so I dont show an inch of skin any longer.

 

You will have no problems at all, last December I saw one at a fuel stop (Kerrville Texas) with Washington plates, the guy rode it down in 3 days, he said his ass hurt but it was about 700 miles a day. LOL He was spending 2 or 3 weeks with family in San Antonio and was having a ball. He was a smaller, short guy as well.

Just rewatched a certain episode of South Park last night, so I thought this was gonna go a different direction

 

I started rewatching the seasons on Max a few weeks ago. I'm to the point when Mr. Garrison became Mrs. Garrison. That show is great

 

i could never get into that show lol. its got some good parts but maaan i just couldnt do it lol

 

Yeah, I think there's about 4 episodes I can stand watching, the Harley episode is at the top of the list.

 

That's one of my 2 favorites. The other was in the early seasons where the boys had a cute female teacher who was a lesbian leading to all of them wanting to be lesbians.

 

I was a freshman in college when it came out.
