Nothing new. Still just have an ETA of August 9th - 21st for the part delivery. Praying it's the earlier end of that, but I won't hold my breath lol

Id be fighting for a platinum 8yr/125k to help you “regain faith” in the brand (did this on my 16 after a diff replacement).

 

Just fyi, if you spend more than 30 days without the truck they will buy it back for every penny you spent on it

Picked up a 2016 while on vacation as I was passing through Lubbock Tx (from Houston), drove to Colorado, discarded the front air dam. Ran all over Colorado, Utah and back through West Tx without looking at the owners manual, no failures lol.

 

Manufacturers hate this one weird trick for getting a new transmission faster.

100% true, unfortunately, non owners tend to jump into conversations and just bash the 4th gen for not being a 2nd and 3rd gen, which is poor form and leads to such statements.

Except a timing cover leak or cylinder head repair will be more expensive than a turbo replacement..
