So, I wear safety glasses when I do my PM's blowing out equipment. Sometimes stuff like litter gets blown out and if I'm at the right angle that crap goes right under my glasses and into my eye. Wearing contacts it makes it 10x worse.

Just tell him when you’re starting your 4 day week, they’ve had enough time to mull it over, no answer isn’t a no!

I just realized I have something I made to contribute to this thread instead of asking questions. The new tractor has a grill guard but it's still not much protection against brush and limbs hitting the plastic grill. I bent and bolted some angle from an old bed rail and then welded some expanded metal to it. The welds look terrible but I think it will work.

So, realtor looked at the comps and looks like it's worth more than I thought o_O

Lets hope it hold out till the Spring. With current events who the heck knows. While it's a little pre-mature I've found several nice in town homes built in the 40's that are downright cute (yes, I said it, don't judge!). Kinda what I'm looking for. No yards, but I'm OK with that.

    ...cute...

No yard is ok -- as long as the space is taken up by a big garage. :D

Most have a 2 car, so that's fine by me. Couple back up to an alley, so actually perfect.

I'm ok with less lawn care. I enjoy it, but there's other things I would rather have. I know people want a massive yard, but I realized I personally don't need it. I have that nice Honda mower that will do just fine.

I like to mow but don't enjoy lawn work if that makes any sense. :notsure:

If I was the more typical retired guy with only one property to maintain perhaps it would be different.

After all these years living out here being in town would be tough for me - even good neighborhoods are noisy compared to living on a dead end dirt road.

I don't mind the country, but I really miss the convenience. 25 minutes here, 25 minutes there. I don't have the sense of adventure I used to. Not to mention they have natural gas, water, and sewer in town. Nothing I have now.
