Mostly depends on how you use the truck and also the bed. Obviously anything heavy pushing against the side isn't good, In some cases toppers have been known to cause the bed to spread over time, might have been some 4 wheeling also I don't know. I read a post on here of one member that noticed his had spread and he couldn't think of what he did that might have caused it. For street use and with no external stresses like loads of mulch, a topper or rack you're probably ok.

Were to able to reuse the tabs at all? Essentially asking if it’s worth it to go with the heat gun if I end up just dremeling off the tabs anyways.

Just put in an order for a set of RCI sliders. The vertically challenged members of the family had just about given up on asking me to put a set of steps on.

Also got new brake lines on order. Embarrassingly in the 200K miles I’ve had the truck I’ve never changed the brake fluid or bled the brakes. The original brakes made it to 180K before they were worn to the point that I decided to change them.

Finally got around to plumbing my ARB Twin out of the engine bay and into the front bumper, although I still need to get a dust cover for the quick connect. I'll probably relocate the air filters to the cowl at some point, too.

1-2lb TIG filler wire tube caps work really well for this.

Lower control arm bushings; from white line. That was a fun endeavor. But I’m able to get my truck aligned and drives pretty square now :)

I'm about to get a set of White Line bushings - were they a PITA to install?

I only cut the bolts out, be generous with wd40, then I just opted to have a shop remove the old bushing and press in the new ones

Thx…I’ve looked and agree, others carry the grille insert . However, the grille shroud is harder to obtain than the grille insert itself. Did you upgrade the grille shroud/wraparound as well? Mine is chrome and I’m looking for both pieces, shroud and insert, in black.

I had mine wrapped in satin black vinyl. He charged me $100 bucks to do it.

That looks great! How long have you had it wrapped? Wondering about the durability of vinyl wraps? I did my emblems in PlastiDip but decided against using PD on grille shroud up front & rear bumpers…Appreciate the info, pic and suggestion, Smills91

Only a few months now. He said it's likely last 4 or 5 years if I didn't run it through the car wash and parked it in my garage when not in use.

I use the garage but I do take it through the carwash
