    Gotcha. Well I'm excited to watch your progress on this one. An electric fan sounds a hell of a lot more efficient than our stock ones. Makes it a hell of a lot easier when you have a standalone to control it with too :D
    will be refreshing to see a success story of one on these trucks too

    Interesting, had no idea you could do that.

    Speedy is right though, RPM needs to be higher, it's probably lower than what factory was doing. Once I rewire my brake wire to have a pullup (or down, can't remember what it needs) instead of how it came from SNP, I'll be adding a few conditionals. Higher idle RPM needs to be offset with retarded timing or my brakes don't hold well.

    From the direction your fuel screenshot was headed in boost, it looked like you might be damn rich already (11s at 3PSI?). Likely just need to back off timing now a bit.

    I think he actually just has a lean spot during ramp in that isn't driving with his gear set and how it gets loaded down

    The transmission does shift pretty well. It did get hot when I went up the mountain a couple days back but I was almost to the summit before I needed to pull over and that was in the dark so temperatures were a little cooler.
    The transmission actually did better yesterday in the heat and everything it stayed at 185

    The cell you have highlighted, click on it and enter a lower value like 13.6. The cell below it enter 13.7. Next disable the boost controller function. As stated, there is alot of work to be done and it's not ready to party yet, especially in this heat. As a band aid, you can throw 1 to 1.5 gallon of e85 in the tank. This will help with ping. But it'll take longer to iron out your tune. It will be safer though.

    I did make small changes to the cell selected and those around it.

    I wasn't really trying to be hard on it, I was just testing it on roads I've had know issues so I could see what it would do.

    I see in the boost control settings where it has a cap at 7.4 but the box is always grayed out so I can't lower the value.

    I also changed the data logger from triggering at 50% throttle position to coolant temperature so it'll start logging if it goes above 199° now

    Then disconnect the boost controller and just run a straight vacuum hose to your wastegate. How do you have the solenoid plumbed in? I'm using Type 1 in the pic.

    It's set up like type 1 but port three is vent to air and port two is the turbo pressure source.

    I'd have to buy more vacuum line or drop the manual boost T back in because I used my last good piece to run the MAP sensor.

    I should buy more vacuum line regardless to move the solenoid a little further away from the heat

    You can also get a Barbed Union fitting to join the lines.

    I would plumb the boost controller as pictured when you are going to use it.

    You do have colder spark plugs installed right?

    Have you tried turning off overdrive in that scenario instead of stopping. The TC will still lock in 3rd.

    The overdrive was off. That's the first thing I do when it starts getting warm

    Interesting. I've not experienced that high of temps in 3rd. typically they will start coming back down (or at least maintain) even on very long, steep grades once OD is off.

    I have a long history of trying to manage trans temps that goes back to pre SC/Haltech/Shift kit days. Though control is much easier that is used to be, it is still an issue because of the weight I carry.

    What's your spring pressure? You can't get lower than that. Just unplug the solenoid and jump the tube.

    @unstpible The way you have the solenoid plumbed, 0 pressure is reaching the wastegate. I just confirmed on a spare Mac valve by blowing through the ports. You need to plumb it as pictured for Type 1 or bypass the solenoid.
