I'm heading out at around 7pm on Thursday night. I'll arrive between 10-11pm Thursday depending on traffic and gas stops on the way there. I'm up for wheeling on Friday, maybe north trail to the boat launch (I think that's the shorter one, at least).

Not sure if I am heading up Thursday or Friday yet. Aiming for Thursday though so I can secure a campsite.

For those coming in on Saturday, at what time should we try to get there? Also, are we meeting at the camping spot listed in the 1st post ?

Everything is pretty flexible. I’m thinking 11-12 would be ideal? If you want to set up camp before you go wheeling, maybe come earlier? Earlier is obviously better but I am not in rush. Everyone else can chime in though. No stress on my end.

Yeah my general experience (in the case of showing up on Saturday) is I personally like to get there at 930ish, so that I can take my time to stretch my legs, set up my camp, tent, eat a snack, shoot the shit and then settle in before wheeling for the day. But, 11-12 works if you don't mind setting up after wheeling as well- just what I prefer to do.

And yeah, that's where we'll be meeting before heading out on the trails. It's after the long weekend so shouldn't be insanely busy. You'll see us. Look for a truck with a flatbed- that's @tacoma16, his truck is most distinctive.

Sounds good. Yeah, I think I'll head up early so I have time to set things up before we go out.
This might be a stupid question, but should I worry about wildlife (coyotes/bears/killer bunnies) ? Food is in a sealed container, but don't know if anything else is required?

Nothing beyond regular camping really. Don't leave open food out, and you'll be fine. I've seen one bear in 4 years of trips.

You don’t want to have food out. But if it’s in a cooler or in the truck you are good. We have had a bear at camp but someone did leave chocolate croissants out.

I’ll be heading down roughly the same time @Tridet167. I’ll see ya there. I’m going to bring a 11x11 gazebo as I’m assuming we will need it.

@4RunnerSeb I won’t be leaving that late Thursday. Sorry for the short notice.
