2020 Trd Off Road Headlights

Can I get an upgraded Headlights for my truck. The daytime running lights are the nice bright LED….. but of course the headlights are the crappy yellow!!! Best suggestions?? Thank you.

 

Yes you can upgrade to full LED’s for a lot of money, or do the best low cost update by replacing your low beam H11’s with H9 bulbs:

OE H9s or OE LED's is the best, I'd shy away from aftermarket in this case.

 

Just for the record, daveeasa makes an electrical harness for your situation, to attach OEM LED headlights. You can PM him or just put @ in front of the name to alert him you want to talk.

Wait for a good sale on Toyota parts for the OEM LEDs. Or buy the H9s in the meantime as the cost for the pair is about $20.

 

Morimoto HID kit from The Retrofit Source in the stock projectors works better than any of the plug and play LED bulbs do.

 

Are those legal in all places, or do inspectors reject HID in a halogen assembly? Seems a good question to ask first.

 

HIDs are not legal to use in any halogen lamp, regardless of whether there's an inspection or not.

 

Yup and I've not ever had a single issue using them for 20 years.
