Any fellow canucks know a place to get the Weathertech mats in Canada besides weathertech.ca?

From the official site they are like 40% higher than on the USA site, THEN shipping.

It would be far far cheaper to get them from the USA and pay the border fees.

So anyone know of a better outlet they have ordered from?

And anyone know why we are getting fleeced so badly on these? A bit higher price is normal, but our dollar is quite a bit higher than the USA dollar now, and shipping to Canada would prob be from the same chinese factory that ships to the USA, so I'm really not sure what's up.

    Thanks for any info guys.

EDIT: After examining further, it looks like since the USA is charged $18 for shipping and we are charged nothing, the difference is not near as big as I thouhgt. While we are still higher, it is in the area of the normal amount (accounting for border fees etc) so I can understand this.

    Sorry Weathertech!

They are pretty spendy in Canada. I wanted a set but when it's 80% of the price of new carpet I was holding off. On the recent GB the price was really good though. The cost difference isn't actually all that different from .com to .ca. The US site lists a DC front and rear for $169+ship vs. CDN $210 shipped. Add $18 shipping (GB flat shipping rate) you get $187 so a $23 difference plus the dollar difference. We're still getting screwed though.

Try shiphappens.com, they have a location in Orville WA for you interior guys. That's where I sent mine too. If you can wait for or start another GB though the GB price was $140 shipped to the US.

As far as the China thing, Weathertech goes to great lengths promoting how american their company and products are. At any rate, I'm really happy with my mats.

    Wow great site link fvtalon!

The actual url is actually http://myshiphappens.com BTW for anyone searching this.

Ya what I did not see really is that shipping is included on the Canadian mats. This actually puts the prices fairly close. (within 10-15$).

Certainly closer than what would warrant the 4 hour round trip drive to Oroville. Sill a great link thouhg fvtalon, I plan on using it! Order bunch of stuff at once and go grab it and some amazing tacos at the taco stand in Oroville :D

Don't like that we have to pay these fairly higher prices, but in this case, the diff is not as much as I saw at first, so Sorry to Weathertech. I'll update my first post.

    Ordered a front set from Weathertech.ca !

Yeah, sorry about the incomplete link. I'm about half an hour from the Sumas location, they're great to deal with. At least in Sumas they can accept basically anything too, even pallets, so you can order something like wheels & tires and potentially save a bundle.

I've been saving tons of money ordering stuff to there. I've been looking at the firestone airbags for the rear suspension, was quoted $800 locally or I've found like $270 shipped in the lower 48.... no brainer...

You can get them through Canadian Tire for cheap compared to the weathertech.ca website. I bought mine there, as did others in the CT4WD association. CT doesn't charge shipping, so if you don't mind waiting a few weeks it is well worth it.

JEEZE now you tell me. I already ordered from the weathertech site. They don't charge shipping either though in theory. They prob just bundle it into the price though.

Thanks for the info though I'll keep in mind if I decide to get the rears.

I can't recall how much they were. I bought them in 2006. My memory is good, but not that good. I just remember having the weathertech price in hand, and the CT price was an order of magnitude cheaper for front and rear mats combined.

Wow really like $20 instead of $200? Or I assume that was hyperbole.
