Ordered and installed. Best part is these bumpers are in stock and ready to ship, even with powder coat at several places. Not much heavier than the stock bumper and bolts up nicely.

Directly from Wheelers, Allpro (I think wheelers and allpro are owned by the same company now?) And also at Extreme terrain

That's where I ordered this one from after going back and forth between sites. Use their chat box that pops up to ask questions. They got me $60 off of their price to "persuade" a purchase lol.

Anyone have the C4 swing out? Looking at it, but wondering on a scale of 1-10 how much of a PITA it would be to remove the swingout if I had to haul some long boards.

Will be updating this page throughout the week with info about the stock spare tire mount for every bumper.

I'm looking to get a high clearance rear bumper but need use of the mount under the truck. Need full bed storage for daily use but can put the spare in the bed along with my coolers and gear when I go off roading. Can't go swingout as I frequently need to parallel park and swingouts are usually double the price.

Rather get quality front & rear bumpers than the ultimate rear bumper.

I also know some of you also need stock mount info for daily use or you lucky few looking to get a swingout but want a 2nd spare location.

Added the new Road Runner rear bumper from C4, added info about stock spare mount, updated prices and lead times.

Let me know if there are any other rear bumpers I should add or if any info needs to be updated.

Personally I'm leaning towards replacing my Warn step bumper and getting a BAMF High Clearance.

It’s coming along great. I’ll post additional photos once it’s complete. It’s the Apogee rear bumper with tire carrier.

Hi Grizz, so this bumper you ordered, I have a few questions: EDIT, I think I found this bumper online.
    • Does it retain stock hitch ? I'll ask them directly.
    • It has holes for all 4 sensors ? (backup and blind spot) I'll ask them directly.
    • Lights look different, does it come with the lights ? Looks like it comes with the lights.
    • Does it fit really well, no cutting, etc. ?
    • Easy to install ?
    • What brand was it ? Looks like APEX ?
    • Looks like it doesn't retain stock trailer hitch. I want to retain the stock hitch.
    Thanks.

Thanks @crazychris4124 , lurking here for a while trying to pick a high clearance swing out rear bumper.

Pelfry looked ideal but gone, kind of back and forth between brute force, ath, c4…..

Would be great to hear people who have changed their rear bumpers to post up pros and cons.

I've got Relentless Fabs HC swingout! Love it! It's a heavy mofo but needing a few people to help out isn't necessarily a con.
    Pros:
    -high clearance
    -beefy
-love the hitch wiring reroute (even though you need to buy an extension)

    Cons
-the support blocks my removable hidden compartment in the bedside for my arb compressor (this is NOT RF's fault obviously, it's kinda a problem I encountered after the install. I can still remove the compartment, I just need to remove the bumper first)

    Thanks for that!
I can’t recall why I didn’t have them on my list….I ruled them out early on but I’ll take another look.

I would have thought the side supports were below the cubbies on each side?

Nice fall pic, I used to live on LI and nyc too.

They are, thats my problem. I have a dual ARB in an aftermarket cubby that replaced the stock one. The problem is, in order to remove the ARB, you need to remove the cubby, it doesn't come out from the front.

    Ahhhhhh gotcha.
Any chance you could repurpose the old spare tire area? ….still a pita location but removing the bumper sounds horrible, even if you had a nice & equipped garage.
