Are these sights all on the eastern side of moosehead? Lookin into how the fishing will be.

I'll answer for bill yes. I think one might be on the western side actually.

 

Do you flyfish or just normal? I just use spoons up there 90% of the time. Its actually quite different than fishing in southern NH

 

I have fly fished, but no I have been doing mostly hard baits lately. Haven’t caught shit on the beach lmao.

Yep, there wasn’t any bass in moose head til a few years ago. The nmw ponds are all musky/pike or trout. Some perch too

 

The largest Smallmouth Bass I ever caught was at Prong Pond in Greenville. I wanted to get her back in the water ASAP, so no measurements or photos. Also caught many White Perch, which are excellent tableware, at Prong Pond.

I can show you where to stay on the west as it feeds into the kennebec river.

Installed in the summer of 2019. Never sprayed the front suspension with fluid film, don't think it would stay there anyway.

 

I have a used set in the garage, if you need to borrow one until you’re all set… saving them as a backup but happy to lend you whatever.
