just a couple of things tbh
Ya but if it's a stretch I'd say no and let it pass and wait for another. I crunched a lot of numbers when buying the new klx even thou I had 4k to put down lol

I wouldn't let it put me in a bad spot. Even if things went slightly bad, I could make it for 3 months. I just don't want to chance it.....if that makes sense. It all depends on what they have to say tomorrow. I'd bet he'll hold it if I put down a small "deposit"

Yeah as long as you can pay your bills and not be out on the street due to a new bike... a deal's a deal.

I was saving up to build a trailer but then this Kendon just popped up and I bought it anyways despite not planning on it. Granted, that's a lot cheaper than a T7 but same idea. :D

I'm technically getting $1k a month soon now that my son is moving from daycare to public school with before and after care. Going to try to pad savings with that shit though.

Good call. My AT is just over 600 pounds as it sits, I figure, and its a big bitch when trying to move it around, etc.

rotated tires changed oil threw out the old air freshener.
A couple weeks ago, I spooned a "Mutant" rear tire on to the VFR. (Need to do the front soon, the left side is wicked worn)
Yesterday I noted that the spoons left a lot of shiny aluminum on the rims of the alu. wheels.
So, I stopped at the FLAPS to pick up a gloss black paint pencil.

HECK! $17 for an oz of black paint with a crummy brush in the bottle!

But, yes, I bought it. Convenience has it's price.
The wheels look so much nicer now.....;-)

I put the FZ1 up for sale. Then tomorrow I am going to look at an original owner 2011 GSXR 750 with 3400 miles. Super clean and the GSXR 750 has not changed and are the same bike from 2011 to present. He was asking 9250 but I offered $8500. New is 12k plus tax title license dealer fees ect so to me a darn good deal for a super clean one owner low mile bike. Then if the FZ1 sells I will be just about back even maybe less but we will see. Power of my FZ1 in a 600 frame. Sounds fun.

Wait, didn't you just get that bike back after regretting the sale?

Yes but now I remember why I sold it in the first place. It’s just kinda boring, vibes through the pegs and handle bars, you also feel the weight of the bike. It’s fast but,,,,
Plus I got some money from my Mom when my grandpa passed so it’s time to let it go and get back to what I like, super sport bikes.

What do you mean you won’t have to pay tax? I’ve always had to pay sales and use tax when doing private sales in WA?

Washington cracked down on that. if it’s wildly under they’ll actually go by book value and charge you based on that.

I ran into that once on a truck years ago. I had to take the truck to a mechanic and say it needed a lot of work and got to write it off the book price. Was a pain in the butt but saved me some money.
