After 17 weeks...and a couple return trips to the shop, it's finally done.

And the shop reapplied the tailgate decal...it's a good thing they did because I certainly wasn't.

I used a bb. I haven’t used pellets for years. It’s just what I call the little rifle. Got plenty of bigger firearms for real threats. I just wanted to sting him and send him off. No lead involved. I will use it mostly for squirrels getting after my bird feeders and it worked as well on the big critters. Even the coyotes and deer that drink from my pond get a pass but if a big cat comes prowling around he will get taken seriously and lead will definitely be involved

Zip tie all those positives together, make the are straight coming off the battery, point that fuse up, and place a zip tie on each side of it. Cut a slit in the red boot. If you want to spend more money and time you could get new terminals that have more spots to tie into.

My truck is a manual. I have an older version of one of these. https://overlandequipped.com/collections/fuse-block-bracket/products/copy-of-auxiliary-fuse-block-bracket-for-3rd-gen-toyota-tacoma-2016
It has a bracket to hang the clutch fluid off of.

I'd be shocked if either would penetrate their fur and skin unless it was one of the pointed pellets sent out of a break barrel pellet gun. I know the one I've got is real close to the muzzle velocity of an actual 22 long. A friend of mine had a problem bear and he set up "bear bomb" for it. A can of wasp spray smothered in peanut butter and honey. When that bear bit into it he got quite a surprise. He said he didn't see that bear around his yard for a few months.

oil change, tire rotation. First time doing it myself on this truck (out of toyotacare). Dealership techs used neanderthal strength to put the drain bolt and filter housing on. Also - no oil filler cap was on the truck. I'm not sure if they forgot to put it back on or it vibrated off.

That sucks. It's stories like this that caused me to do all my own oil changes from the beginning. Sometimes free isn't so free.

Got some new shoes for the Taco, Copper Discoverer Road+Trail. I knew they were slightly less aggressive than the Faulken AT’s I had but I’m shocked at how much quieter and smoother driving the Coopers are vs the Faulkens. About 1,000 miles in I’m really happy with the choice to go back to Cooper again.

Also added some stunningly bright Dynamic Diode SS3 Pro fogs via Hotshot Offroad that I forgot to get in a picture.

Just a copy and paste here: Special Warfare Combatant-Craft Crewmen (SWCCs) with Special Boat Team 12 (SBT-12) pilot Naval Special Warfare Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats (NSW RHIBs) in support of a west coast SEAL team.

I'm no Navy expert, I was in the Army...lol

I was there in Coronado in the early 80s, deployed as SEAL support to the P.I. That was before the boat teams went close loop.

So true. It's ridiculous how many stories I've heard, as well as, being one of those that have had similar issues. My last oil/filter and tire rotation I could verify that it wasn't done. Let's just say that Toyota dealership didn't like me calling them out on it.

Yeah, that is what the special boat unit morphed into. It was just a bunch of fleet sailors before, but now it’s a closed group and they have to complete a version of the seal type training. Got to give them a lot of respect, they get into some shit as well.

Unfortunately the flat rate pay system encourages poor workmanship and dishonesty by prioritizing speed over quality. I worked for a lot of years as a dealer tech and I was so glad to get out and have a job where I get paid for my time, not my production.

Not today nor this week, too much going on.
Installed DIY bed lighting - tapped into the USB / LED constant 12 V hub that was installed with my SnugTop - it is already fuse protected. Works well.
