rotated tires changed oil threw out the old air freshener.
I had a SAAB 96 back in the day.
Sweet sounding little V 4 in that rig. The VFR does it one better!

Just put on new SS headers last month. Still running the stock muffler though.

    I don't like loud...

I swear you change bikes more than I change my socks. Who wants to bet he buys the fz1 back again in 6 months?

I am having a hard time finding my final bike. Love the monkey that’s just fun riding with the wife, the Klx for riding with my bro and some logging roads but need something to satisfy my need for speed. I thought I would do longer rides on the FZ1 but like I said it’s a little buzzy, heavy and boring. I need something light, fast and can do a few track days a year. Plus I am not getting any younger so might as well buy and sell until I find what I want.

But yes I do and have changed bikes a lot the last couple years. I am really hoping the GSXR 750 will be the right combination of fast, light , good handling and semi comfortable for 150 mile riding days. It’s just money right? Can’t take it with me.

My best friend put over 60k miles on his fz1, and over 200 trackdays. A tune and some decent suspension (R1 swap) and that bike is perfectly fast and capable. The Gixxer is great, boring, but fast and reliable.

65 in the morning and 81 in the afternoon finally a nice day to enjoy my ride in! Past few days and last week have been in the 100s! So last week I only rode a couple times. This week it's all bike again! I will say it's tiring to ride in after leg day at the gym

so i mentioned when i went to get the klx i got a long detour (an extra hour!) route because of a car accident that closed down the highway. they released dash cam footage of it and man it was a bad one!

PA did that as well. Tax is based on book value unless the seller gives a statement explaining a legit reason for a lower than book value. On the 2013 FJR I bought last Fall the mileage was on the higher side for most motorcycles and the owner acknowledged he simply wanted to get rid of it as it was no longer being used.

BTW, a black grease pencil on a windshield really looks like a crack in a photograph....DAMHIK

thankfully Mo has done that lol we can just kinda put down what we want it seems. the only thing that ive noticed that needs to be accurate is at the bottom of our titles is a tear bit that we send to the state and you will get some tax money back from registering it. so thats when that number has to be correct.

That happened to me... my father in law sold us an old Nissan Maxima for cheap and we got a letter in the mail months later from the state wanting more tax. My FIL had to write a note explaining the sale was to a family member.

I always loved the GSX-R750, glad to see Suzuki still makes it even if not being updated much. It would be amazing on the track obviously, and probably doable if you're saying 150 miles would be your typical range. I say go for it, worst case you sell it.

But try to imagine where you'll spend the majority of time on it... if the answer is street, for me at least, I want a more upright bar rather than clip-ons. Have you considered an MT-09 or Duke 890 R?

That could sure crimp the fun funds (or going south money as my bro in-law calls it)

LOL Damn, talking about a motorcycle being boring on a Tacoma forum. Tacomas are right up there with grass growing. LOL

Take the above comment with a grain of salt, I have never been on a motorcycle yet that I considered boring.

    Harley Davidson Heritage Softail.

When I worked for a HD dealership I had my bike in for some service and they told me to take the Heritage demo unit home. Handlebars felt like I was operating a roto tiller, floorboards that touched down at almost any lean angle at all, no power to speak of. Dull, lifeless turd of a motorcycle. For the life of me I don't understand why anyone would buy one of them.
