Olive, the poodle, isn’t used to walks, unfortunately so she just pulls. We have a body harness and a choke chain. My sister has a bad back and walks aren’t easy for her as she uses a cane. I find the harness makes her dig in and pull more like placing a yoke on an Ox. This morning she went out on the chain, same as my dog, Daisy.

Our mistake with the harness was hooking in back. When it’s hooked in front it kinda spins her around, then the heal command. So far, so good. But yeah I get, my got yanked pretty good one time. I wanna get back on my bike, there ain’t no way I’m trying that with a dog

Yes. Or you can use a horse instead of a dog

I’m liking the horse thing, let my dog pull me cross country skiing, we called it resting. One thing I haven’t done with snow or ice is ski off a man made jump/mountain without poles. Curious how that started, I know winter can be long in da U P , but damn. I’m thinking alcohol and a barn roof and a bet.

I really like them all, some better than others, the older stuff I read first obviously.
Fishing Bamboo was/is a dangerous read for obvious reasons,All Fishermen Are Liars,Good Flies, Fools Paradise, Even Brook Trout Get the Blues , hell there all good. I think Trout Bum is when I fell in love with the “fishing car”
