24 Tacoma ruptured brake line?

I didn't see how mud could rupture a brake line before entering this thread, but here we are lol.

 

The coming winter should be interesting.

“What about ice buildup after wet snowstorms?”

I used to pack the rear wheel on my Suzuki DRZ moto with mud and it had a 12 inch travel in the rear... Different rides but easy to do in our newly designed Taco's, if you're traveling on muddy off roads.

That is certainly a curios way to route the break line....I would love to know the justification for that.

Is the tundra like this?

Wait until winter hits... this going to be a big issue.

 

^Can the Tundra fit 17" wheels? Might be how it's able to avoid this issue.

 

These started getting delivered in January. Surely someone took them in the snow and got it caked up.

My 2010 never had a problem with the brake lines in 12 years, then the brake lines were replaced under recall in November 2021 after they replaced the frame, and I still haven’t had any problems.

What in hell is happening to our beloved Toyota trucks?!?!

 

That is a delicate clusterfuck of stupid.

 

Toyota designed the truck so the frame won't be the first big-ticket item to fail after 12 years
