Hey Eric,

I got in a fight with electric hedge trimmer and lost!

My saving grace was the thick leather gloves I had on...otherwise, I'd probably be missing a finger!

Wife bandaged me up...twice! I waited about 30 minutes putting pressure on my finger and keeping my arm elevated.

I went back outside to clean up, put cord away, rake up and caused my finger to start bleeding again...hence the 2nd dressing put on by my wife.

Took a shower with a freezer bag over my hand this morning...I really did not want to get bandage wet...trying not to put too much pressure on it today at work.

Anyhow, one of the shrubs is half cut...lol. I had to get over it since healing my finger is the priority.

 

That’s crazy but glad to hear you didn’t lose a finger. Power tools are no joke!

Hey Eric,

I've got to have my wife replace the bandage today...looks like I've re-opened the wound since blood seeped through.

I didn't realize how much I use my index finger until I injure it...holy moly!!! lol

Glad to hear she’s taking care of you/it. Can only imagine. Need stitches maybe? Or a suture? I think you can get those otc now.

 

I probably needed stitches...but just using bandage to put mild pressure for it to mend.

Also need to stop putting pressure on my right index finger while I'm at work.

Took the bandage off and let my wound air out. Moisture build-up was really bad...my skin was totally white! lol

Looks like shriveled up torn skin on my index finger this morning...I'll put a bandaid on it and try not to aggravate the area.

 

Sheesh, good luck with it. Might be time for some first aid cream too to help prevent infections.

 

The color came back to my finger this morning.

I had it covered and it got wet creating moisture within the bandage...kinda freaked me out but seeing the color come back is promising.

I'll put some ointment on it and keep it clean.

Giving the area some oxygen should prevent the abnormal coloring I saw...live and learn. lol

How's the weather over there neighbor?

We have Tornado Watch in the area...so far, no incidents.

 

Saw that a tornado touched down in the Pike Creek area. I think that's near the Delaware Park Casino. Hopefully no one was impacted by it.

Bit of stormy weather rolling through Delco at the moment.

We had a power outage here while we were out at Walk-in Clinic...wife has soreness in her ribs from overdoing it on mini-trampoline.

Hey Eric,

Not sure if you're experiences any outages locally.

Yesterday, I received a message from xFinity about internet outage while I was out.

We came home and found out it was a power outage.

About 30 minutes ago, we had a xFinity reboot type of outage again...but no message today since it was a short outage.

Heading out now...we'll see how things are upon our return.

 

Luckily nothing here. Was in and out of Baltimore city before it flooded yesterday too!
