So my 3G is mediocre then. I paid 38K in '18 for an OR. People are paying 43K here for a 4G OR. Can you say top dollar anymore?

Easy Mr Emotional....Take a deep breathe....No one ever said it should be a recall...Plus this isn't the first time, its the first time it has been in a video from a well know aftermarket development company. If you really look at what Icons Engineer had found you'd understand it will happen again.
I could care less about the Colorado or Jeeps, we are talking about Toyota Tacomas..try and focus.....Breathe...In....out...in...

In 2019 the base MSRP for a TRD PRO was $42,960. They could get close to 50k if you added every single port option.

$46k for mine in October of 2022

no way I’d pay $20k more for the new Pro; it’s a big step forward in technology and power but not a $20k advancement. That’s nuts.

I'm 8k miles in on my 24 TRDOR and I have yet to experience the mediocre quality or issues that is being spoken about.

$50k+ is a lot of money for a midsize truck but somehow I don't feel ripped off...

Except for those tires, I really think those BFG's are lame

I do think the Pro and TH trims are gimmicky and over priced but theres an ass for every seat i guess

That is a halo discretionary thing. Apples to apples. Who ever cared that people buying Pros weren't getting their money's worth? It has always been a given. Prevalent sentiment in the beginning is that the meat part of the curve was too expensive. Look around, that isn't true at all. Some predicted that. Now people here are left to bitch about whatever to continue whatever is stuck in their minds.

After the ADD hysteria that I fell along with, I default to my baseline of any reports of catastrophes. Wait and see. Prove it.

And that’s why manufacturers keep raising prices because of this exact way of thinking.

You got to stop pulling info out of your ass. For most of Americans $70k is a lot of money. We are glad it's "play money" to you but for most it's a big investment.

Yeah I think you’re speaking for the minority of Americans when saying $70k isn’t a lot of money for a lot of people. Pretty ignorant statement to make.
