Hey guys, my 2023 pro suspension will not stop squeaking. And it’s driving me insane!
Truck has 11k miles. At about 7,500mi the front suspension began to squeak. A simple quarter turn on the top shock nut and it fixes it. But it keeps coming back, no matter how much it’s tightened or loosened. Seems to be primarily passenger side. Shocks also squeak when going over speed bumps.
It’s all still under warranty so I plan to bring it in, again. The dealer has already tried 1x. Anyone have similar experience and what was the resolution?

Are the '23 springs flat ground on top? If not maybe look into the Eibach lift springs. It's only like an inch of lift on a '23 but a couple years ago they redesigned their spring to that ground flat version specifically to quiet down the squeaking.

Have you gotten any welding work done around the front suspension? Things like double-shear UCA pivots, TC cam tabs, Marlin frame gussets, etc.? If any of the rubber bushings got cooked from welding, they'll squeak like crazy.

Make the UCA pivot bolt is tight.
Make sure the lower shock bolt is tight.
Make sure the LCA cam bolts are tight.

Since you have Pro suspension I'm assuming you go off road a lot. Vibrations off road are a lot stronger than on pavement, so fasteners are much more likely to loosen.

    Sounds like a warranty issue.

I really don’t want to have to do anything out of pocket to fix an issue that’s under warranty. Just curious if others had the same issues and what the solution ended up being

Fair play. Let us know what the dealer winds up doing for you.

And yes my 2020 Pro squeaks like mad. I just deal with it. If I get down there and wash the coilovers it seems to go away for a few days but always comes right back.

Shocks, leaf springs. Unfortunately it’s a squeaky truck.

Get the dealer to replace it under warranty. They probably won’t want to do it but just be persistent

It’ll come back one way or the other tho

I am having the same problem. I have some video I will upload. I am taking mine in on the 21st. First time they couldn't find it because it rained and it wasn't squeaking. I have read a lot that it is the body mount that is bad from how they put on the cab in production. However, I think that could be a different squeak than what you are talking about.

It's something about the way the top of the spring sits against the isolator pad I think. That's why the flat ground spring doesn't have the same issue.

I’ve found that if you rotate the top strut mount bolt, which is a 17mm, just a quarter turn that noise will go away temporarily.

Yeah seems to be a common problem yet not common enough for the dealer to know how to fix it. Consensus from FB Tacoma group and those same videos is the body mounts. Several people said they had those replaced and it resolved the problem.
