I was a little bit apprehensive at first for a company that I haven't heard about.

(Note: I do not work for this company or am sponsored in any way. I'm a huge advocate and customizing my Tacoma with the best quality products out there)

This company specializes in contoured, custom fitted, magnetic window shades. I have already tinted my windows with 3M ceramic tent to maximize heat blockage.

The extra medium helps keep the truck cool and keeps my 2 little ones happy (yes, it is totally do-able to put 2 car seats in a Tacoma; I am 5'10" 190 lbs)

I definitely recommend this product if you're looking for extra visual security screen or cutting down on heat! Maybe you wouldn't want a suction cup marks to clean or stick on shades that little ones could suffocate on!

Do you have to install mounts or does the shade just stick to the metal around the window?

Can you roll the Windows down with them in or the wind blow them off?

There is built-in magnets near the 4 contoured corners.
Not sure if they are neodymium magnets but the shades stay on even when slamming the door shut (this made me wince a little but was necessary for a test...)

You can roll the windows down because the magnets attach to the interior door frame.
I can't say that I have driven at highway speeds or strong crosswinds but I have cruised around with them ~50 mph on breezy day with no problems

I know other companies have magnetic, contoured window shades for the 3rd gen but I think they don't cover the entire window?

UPDATE: wind tunnel test was a fail.

Driving on a straightaway at 65 mph with all 4 windows open, the right snapshade flys out the window. Someone runs over it tearing the fabric around the bendable, metal frame but no major damage.

Good idea if they would stay on. I used the fabric/mesh ones that slide over the door and window with my old subaru to vent the car and keep bugs out car camping. They work good and stay in place but ugly.

    Thanks for posting a picture.

How much of gap is there between the screen and the window frame? Do you think it would work well as a bug screen for car camping?
